Your transit – Your say
BC Transit’s Transit Future Bus will be out and about in Greater Victoria between September 26 and October 17, welcoming public feedback for the development of Local Area Transit Plans specific to Esquimalt/View Royal, Sooke, and Broadmead/Cordova Bay.
Feedback gathered through these public consultations will help BC Transit to develop recommendations to the Victoria Regional Transit Commission (VRTC) on how to improve existing transit services and identify future needs specific to these areas.
Members of the public unable to visit us at an open house are encouraged to submit their feedback through an online survey available at bctransit.com/victoria. The survey will be open from September 25 through October 19.
The Victoria Regional Transit Future Plan, adopted by the VRTC in 2011, provides a vision for improving the region’s transit network over 25 years. As part of the Transit Future Plan, BC Transit is developing nine Local Area Transit Plans to determine transit service and infrastructure priorities within Greater Victoria over the next five to seven years.
